Ultrasonic Inspection is an inspection technique used for detecting surface and in-material discontinuities by transmitting and receiving high frequency sound waves (20 KHz - 25 MHz) which are sent through material by an Ultrasonic Testing device. Received sound waves caused by reflection of encountered discontinuities are converted into data for evaluation.
